Napoleon Perdis Lip gloss.

So I always love getting post, especially when it is some new awesome cosmetics for me to try and today I was thrilled to receive a free 5.6ml sample of Napoleon Perdis lip gloss (I can’t find a name of the colour on the packaging but in the bottle it looks very orange).

The first thing I noticed about this lip gloss was the florescent orange colour, I honestly should not have worried though as when you apply it to your lips it goes on clear and looks totally lovely and natural!  The information on the packaging sums this lip gloss up pretty well, it says “This limited edition mint flavoured lip gloss is the secret to lustrous lips 24/7. A built in mirror ensures ease of application, whilst bees wax nourishes and protects your pout. Result: Lips are left super shiny!” Although the cute mirror is on the end of the wand, it might have been better placed on the bottle!

I have to say that I actually can not think of a bad thing to say about it! I love the fact that the applicator is a little brush, these are in my opinion the best for of applicators for an even finish. Once on your lips it feels very tingly, like other lip plumping glosses. Unlike Soap and Glorey’s sexy mother pucker gloss this tingling doesn’t verge on painful, this is a pleasent sensation.

This lip gloss retails at about $20 and is produced by a famous makeup artist, who I am ashamed to say I had not heard of until I did some research on him this morning when my package arrived. At the moment they do not have a UK based website, but they do offer international shipping, however prices will vary and you only get to find out how much it will cost at the checkout.

Although I really love this lipgloss I think that $20 plus the potential p&p costs to post to the UK all for a 5.6ml tube might be a little too pricey for most people, especially as the tube is the size of my thumb, this however is the only down side to the product!

  1. Oh, damn! That’s a very expensive lipgloss (I have to kidnap a celeb to get the money *lol*) but I can’t deny that the packaging looks awesome and goes perfectly with the theme of your blog!

  2. Great review. The product sounds amazing and worth a try. Just to bad about the price!
