Avon Anew Clinical eye lift.

This product usually RRP’s at £18, however Avon had some sort of offer on when I bought it so I paid £10. you can get it really cheap on ebay, I have just paid £3.00 for my second tub of it from there (see links below) and I would recommend you doing this to see if you avon-anew-clinical-eye liftlike it before paying full price for it.

When the product arrived I was quite shocked at how small and cheap it looked. I know that £18 isn’t that much to pay for an eye cream but I did expect more than the cheap plastic pot it came in and the small blobs of cream you get. If you look at the picture, which is the one that they use to advertise the product, it leads you to believe that you will be getting about 50 times the amount of cream than you actually do! The one pot is divided into two sections, one containing the orange upper eye gel and the other the beige under eye cream. Avon states that if used twice daily, “the upper eye gel boosts collagen. Tightens and lifts the look of skin on and around the eyelids, plus improves the brow bone area. Under eye cream helps diminish the look of under eye bags and puffiness, dark circles and crêpiness”. The under eye cream was very rich and moisturising, however after using the whole pot, which surprisingly took quite a long time, my dark circles are just the same. The upper eye gel however really seems to work; I noticed a visible difference to my upper eye lid / brow bone area and could feel the gel tightening the skin when I put it on. I think I am going to carry on using the upper eye gel, however I will try using a different under eye cream to try and improve my fine lines and wrinkles.

Pros: The upper eye gel seems to work and improves the look of the upper eye area. It actually lasts for quite a while despite there not looking like there is much to begin with. The under eye cream is very moisturising.

Cons:  The under eye cream does not give the results that it promises and the packaging is very cheap.
